Welcome to Mrs. White's Web page!

Educational Background:
My first degree was in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the National University of Trujillo - Peru, South America. In the United States, I received my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education from Sul Ross, State University. I went on to obtain my second Master's in Spanish Literature from Texas A&M International University.

Why I teach:
I grew up in a house where education was important. My mother taught 5th grade for over 30 years and continued to encourage her children to be life long learners. I instilled the importance to education in my own children as well. Opening up yourself to new opportunities and making connections to what you already know is an exciting thing. Your knowledge can take you wherever you want to go. I want my students to realize that we actually never stop learning.

What I teach:
5th grade self-contained bilingual classroom
